Thank you for all your help. Here’s my testimonial. I hope it will help someone.

I have been divorced since 2014 but since then I had trouble with my flat. First I was to buy over my ex husband’s share of the flat and take it over. I finally found the funds to do so but then changed jobs and wasn’t able to furnish the rest of the housing loan. I applied for a variation of court order to sell the flat instead.

This took a Long time to go through and all the while I was still paying for the flat. No one living there and I couldn’t rent it out so I was making a loss. For 2 years I was contributing to this depreciating asset and was in such a bad state. I finally got approval to sell it and the court granted me one year to do so.

Many months in, I still couldn’t find a buyer. I thought that I wouldn’t make it in time. Thankfully, Master Lilian advised me to get the CAN and the WMC. After more than 30 viewings I finally got an offer. I was so relieved.

Few days later the buyer withdrew and I was so upset. Master Lilian advised me to be patient and to have faith that what’s meant for me will come. A few days later it did! I had another offer and for an even higher price!

Even with some administrative delays and difficulties, the deal went through and closed just one day before the one year date was up. I have only gratitude for this journey and I’m very happy that this chapter has finally closed.
