Teacher's Day
Teachers’ Day is a special special day observed in many countries to honor teachers & appreciate their contributions for the countries’ education. Different countries celebrate Teachers’ Day on different dates. Teachers’ Day celebrated in many countries is not to be confused with the World’s Teachers’ Day which is officially observed around the world on 5 October every year.

Origin of Teacher's Day
In many countries…the dates of Teachers’ Day is determined based on an important landmark in the country’s education or certain event related to the country’s famous figures of education. As an illustration…Teachers’ Day in Indonesia celebrates the establishment of Indonesian Teachers’ Association (PGRI) while Teachers’ Day in Argentina commemorates the death of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento…an activist, intellectual, statesman as well as the seventh President of Argentina.
